WHY ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

When additive manufacturing really makes the difference.

Three scenarios where industrial 3D printing beats CNC machining and injection molding on cost, lead time, logistics and design freedom.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions procurement managers and design engineers ask most often when evaluating EptaPrint as their industrial 3D printing partner.

We run more than 15 industrial printers in-house across FDM (including high-temperature VisionMiner 22IDEX V4 machines), MSLA and SLS. We cover the full spectrum: low-cost standard materials (PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, PC), engineering materials (Nylon PA12, PA-CF, engineering resins) and high-performance polymers (PEEK, PEKK, Ultem, PPS). On top of that we offer MJF 3D printing for production runs of nylon parts and metal 3D printing (LPBF).

Quotes in 24 hours. Single functional prototypes in 48–72 hours on the Express lane. Short runs and tooling (jigs, fixtures, clamps, robotic grippers) typically in 5–10 days. For the technologies in our own machine park (FDM, MSLA, SLS and CFC) we handle urgent jobs quickly; for MJF and metal the lead time is stated in the quote.

Both. Our engineering team picks the material with the best price-to-performance ratio for each project: PLA/PETG/ABS when they are enough, SLS nylon for functional short runs, PEEK/Ultem/CFC when you need metal replacement or extreme resistance. There is no material dogma, only the right choice for your part.

Yes: industrial tooling (inspection jigs, fixtures, clamps, masks, robotic grippers, end-of-arm tooling) is one of our core services. We produce it in Nylon PA12 SLS, PA-CF, continuous fiber composite or high-performance polymers, depending on the loads and the operating environment.

Yes: uploads travel over an encrypted SSL/TLS connection, files are kept separate per customer on European infrastructure, and submitting them automatically puts our standard EptaPrint S.r.l. Non-Disclosure Agreement in force (the NDA can be downloaded during the upload).
