Industrial 3D printing services in Brescia, Italy

Your industrial 3D printing and prototyping partner in Brescia: from design to end-use production, one supplier for industrial 3D printing, rapid prototyping, reverse engineering and CAD modeling, and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) consulting.

01 · Industrial 3D printing

Six additive technologies, one supplier

FDM, MSLA, SLS, MJF, CFC and metal 3D printing: we choose the right process for you based on geometry, material and the performance your part requires.

Advanced materials

High-performance polymers and composites for critical applications

We process the high-performance polymers that CNC machining and molding struggle with: mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance for genuine metal replacement.

Process

From file to part in four steps

  1. 1. Upload your file

Send us your CAD (.STL, .STEP) and a short description of the project.

  2. 2. Expert review

A technician reviews the file, recommends material and orientation, and sends you the quote.

  3. 3. Production

Printing, post-processing and quality control in our lab in Brescia.

  4. 4. Packing and shipping

Dedicated packaging and tracked shipping throughout Italy and Europe.

02 · Rapid prototyping

Functional prototypes in final materials, in 48–72 hours

We turn your CAD into a testable part on timescales that fit industrial development cycles.

Iterations in hours, not weeks

Change the CAD today, get the updated part tomorrow: no molds, no tooling.

Real materials

Prototypes in production polymers: form, fit and function tests that really count.

Validation with real users

Short pilot batches to test the product before you invest in mass production.

Prototyping benefits

Why prototype with additive

  • Iterative product development on compressed timelines
  • Calibration and commissioning of production machinery
  • Fit and finish validation with stakeholders and customers
  • Preparation of pre-production assembly lines

The EptaPrint advantage

Four guarantees

  • Full confidentiality and standard NDAs
  • Lab-certified quality and precision
  • Fast lead times: 48–72 hours for single parts
  • Advanced materials: high-performance polymers and continuous fiber composites

03 · Industrial tooling

Jigs, fixtures, clamps, robotic grippers and EOAT

We produce custom tooling for manufacturing lines: iterations in hours, materials from Nylon PA12 to continuous fiber composites, and metal replacement for aluminum.

Inspection and checking jigs

Assembly fixtures

Clamps and soft jaws

Paint masking fixtures

Robotic grippers (EOAT)

Pick-and-place tools and drill guides

04 · DfAM consulting

We redesign your components for additive manufacturing

Design for Additive Manufacturing: we optimize geometry, material and production workflow to cut weight, cost and assembly time.

Topology optimization

We remove material where it is not needed while maintaining or increasing stiffness and strength.

Part consolidation

Several components become a single printed part: less assembly, greater reliability.

Material selection

Together we select the right polymer: standard, high-performance or continuous fiber composite.

DfAM process

Five stages, from idea to production

  1. 01

    Idea

    Technical briefing, constraints, production target.

  2. 02

    Design

Modeling and selection of material and technology.

  3. 03

    Prototype

Functional print for validation and field testing.

  4. 04

    Optimization

    Topology, part consolidation, post-processing.

  5. 05

    Production

Pilot batches or end-use parts with repeatable quality.

05 · Hardware embedding

Metal inserts, magnets and electronics embedded in the part

We pause the print at a set height, place the component in its designed seat and seal it in with the following layers: the part comes off the machine already assembled. No trade name, just a process we have been running for years.

Fasteners and joints

Hex and square nuts, screws, brass threaded inserts, load-spreading washers.

Structural reinforcement

Steel or aluminum rods and carbon fiber tubes for extreme stiffness.

Electronics and smart tech

NFC/RFID tags, PCBs and sensors, conductive wires, diffused LEDs, coin cell batteries.

Mechanics and kinematics

Hidden neodymium magnets, captive bearings, springs for compliant mechanisms.

Utility and finishing

Ballast and counterweights for perceived mass, glass slides, mirrors and lenses set in place.

Cavity design

Tolerances, orientation and pause height defined at the DfAM stage for every insert.

06 · Reverse engineering and CAD modeling

From a physical part or an idea to a CAD file

No 3D file? We start from the sample, the 2D drawing or the concept: dimensional survey, printable CAD modeling and DfAM optimization, then printing, all with a single technical contact.

Discontinued spare parts

We rebuild the CAD from the worn or broken part and reprint it in the right material.

Modeling from an idea or drawing

From a sketch or technical specification to a production-ready parametric 3D model.

The file stays yours

We deliver the STEP file together with the part: no lock-in on your design.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about technologies, lead times and services.

FDM for high-performance polymers, tooling and structural parts; MSLA for fine detail, masters, gauges and appearance prototypes; SLS for complex support-free geometries and PA12 batches; MJF for production runs of end-use parts in nylon PA12 and PA11, PP and TPU; CFC for structural tooling with continuous fiber and metal replacement; metal 3D printing (LPBF) for metal parts with internal channels and complex geometries.

Yes: industrial tooling is one of our core services. Inspection jigs, fixtures, clamps, robotic grippers, painting masks, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and pick-and-place printed in Nylon PA12 SLS, PA-CF, continuous fiber composite or high-performance polymers, with design iterations in hours and no mold costs.

For prototypes and small batches, SLS gives a uniform finish and fast turnaround in Nylon PA12 and TPU, in a build volume of up to 330 × 330 × 565 mm. For larger runs, MJF fills a 380 × 284 × 380 mm build volume with many parts per build and produces near-isotropic parts in PA12, PA11, PP and TPU. The quote states the most cost-effective process for your quantity, geometry and material.

Yes: industrial 3D printing removes the fixed cost of tooling. We quote batches from 1 to a few thousand parts at a linear per-part price, with no mold setup. For high volumes we propose a hybrid route: additive plus CNC, or additive plus short-run molding.
